Closing the annual conference of ICOM-CECA international committee in Athens, a cultural excursion on 22 November 2024 took participants to the Greek Olive and Olive Oil Museum of Sparta, which is part of the network of thematic museums of technology created by the Cultural Foundation of the Piraeus Bank Group (PIOP). An animation explaining the crushing and pressing of olives was much appreciated.
