Special Interest Group: Museum Education and Decoloniality

Dates: February 23 and 26, 2026, at 4 p.m. MEX / 11 p.m. CET

We will begin our activities for 2026 with two meetings that will address the same content and will be held on different dates, with the aim of facilitating participation and encouraging as many members as possible to attend.

At these meetings, we will share the objectives planned for the year, pool our annual planning for collective review, and organize the working subgroups that will continue our lines of action. The intention is to begin the year with a space for open, participatory, and collaborative dialogue that will allow us to strengthen the group’s direction and renew our commitment to critical and situated educational practice.

All interested parties—both those who are already members of the group and those who wish to learn more about its approach and dynamics—are cordially invited to participate, learn more, and join this initiative.
