To improve its visibility, ICOM is launching a campaign in 2024 to rethink the acronyms used to identify its international committees.
While some acronyms are easily understood by people outside ICOM, others are very obscure. The acronyme CECA is obscure for the uninitiated. In addition, the research work undertaken by some of us on the term cultural action has shown its relative lack of contemporary relevance.

For these two reasons, we are inviting you to take part in a survey designed to involve CECA members in this process of reflection.
ICOM does not force international committees to change. Do you want the status quo or evolution?
